We had a long pause to decide what to do with this website. We were covering trends but found that most weeks it was One Direction or BGT and if you don't know what they are you are more of a fogie than we are.
So now, time permitting this will be an occasional blog on all things that twitter means to us and anyone else who wants to get involved. Plus if we see a good trend we might stick it in for good measure.
So what this blog is for? Technophobes that need to get with it. So don't be square.
Who are we? Belle Marsh and Declan Munro use twitter alot as authors as a launching platform for our books but also and more importantly because it HUGE FUN. You get 140 characters to say what you like to whoever wants,to listen. But twitter is much more than that. It is a big way to #SHOUTOUT to others about yourself and can launch all sorts of new ideas.
We are not techies or geeks (we wish we were) and we will as we go along point you to our favourite techies or follows.
But that is the point you do not need to be to become super good at using twitter.
So first things first. JOIN TWITTER. FIND FOLLOWERS. DON'T BE SHY, CLICK AND FOLLOW WHOEVER YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.
WORD OF CAUTION. WHEN YOU FIRST JOIN YOU WILL GET SHED LOADS OF DISPICABLE PORNO BOTS. BLOCK THEM AND REPORT THEM AS SPAM IF THEY ARE NOT FOR YOU. YOU MIGHT ALSO GET YOUR TWITTER HACKED BY SCUMBALL BOTS PARTICULARLY MESSAGING. INFORM TWITTER AND CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.
