A group of MP's have suggested that BIG BEN the clock tower at The Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) have suggested that it be renamed ELIZABETH TOWER after the reigning Queen of England Elizabeth II causing furore among republicans.

Since its creation in 1944, the president of the World Bank has always been an American, but developing countries had pressed for a merit-based competition.
The US could have lost legitimacy if it foisted a low-calibre leader on the institution when there are well-qualified candidates from developing countries.
